How to find us

The Hotel Neptun: location right by the beach in Warnemünde, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

By car

from Kiel or Hamburg:
- take the motorway A1 direction Lübeck
- then take the exit Blankensee to the motorway A20
- follow the motorway to Rostock
- take the exit Rostock-West/ Warnemünde
- follow the city highway B 103 to Warnemünde

from Berlin:
- take the motorway A19 direction Rostock
- take exit Warnemünde (Warnow-Tunnel/ MAUT) Tunnel pay toll applied
- After the end of the Tunnel, drive ahead. Right after the bridge crossing the rail tracks take immediately the exit to Warnemünde (city highway B 103).

How to find us:
Once arrived to Warnemünde, at the first traffic light, make a left to Richard-Wagner-Straße and drive till the end of the street. At the next traffic light make a right to the Mühlenstraße and than a left to Kurhausstraße. This street leads you directly to the hotel.

By train

Your destination is the Warnemünde train station, right after the Warnemünde Werft station. The Hotel Neptun is located circa 1 Km away from the train station. From there is possible to take a taxi to arrive to us.

Move quickly and easily by train and use the link to plan your journey. The Deutsche Bahn knows not only train schedules, but also know when driving trams and buses, and how long it takes for the walk to and until the next stop.

The hotel offers also a free of charge shuttle service from and to the train station.

By ferry

Warnemünde is very well connected by ferry with many destinations within the Baltic Sea area. Short and daily rides are planned as follows:

Scandlines
Gedser (Denmark) – Rostock: daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. (every 2 hours)
Rostock - Gedser (Denmark): daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. (every 2 hours)

Trelleborg (Sweden) – Rostock: daily at 8 a.m., 3 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.
Rostock - Trelleborg (Sweden): daily at 7:45 a.m., 3 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.

TT-Line
Trelleborg (Sweden) – Rostock: daily at 8 a.m., 3 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Rostock - Trelleborg (Sweden): daily at 8 a.m., 3 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Tallink Silja Line
Helsinki (Finnland) – Rostock: every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:30 p.m.
Rostock - Helsinki: every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday an Sunday from 2 a.m. 

Finnlines
Gydnia (Polen) – Rostock: every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 5 p.m.
Rostock - Gydnia: every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 4:30 p.m.

All the ferries will attrack at the international port of Rostock. From here is possible to take a bus or a taxi to Warnemünde. All passengers with car will have to drive trough the Warnowtunnel (MAUT) as explained in the above “by car” instructions.

By plane

The airport of Rostock-Laage is regularly connected with the following cities: Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne/ Bonn and Zurich.
